Defective Forklift

Forklift and materials handling equipment are often credited with making heavy lifting, materials handling, construction, and industrial applications more efficient.  A forklift is a product, however, that is prone to catastrophic injury and death in many instances, even when operated by the most experienced user.

Forklifts often have serious points of vulnerability, exposing the operator to cab intrusion and other dangerous circumstances.  Forklift manufacturers often sell important safety equipment, including cab intrusion protection, as "options." Unfortunately, life-saving safety features and equipment should not be optional at all, but mandatory base product components.
