An estate needs to be established with the Court. A Personal Representative for the Estate needs to be appointed by the Collier County Circuit Court (Probate Court).  Notice of the Estate has to be published for creditors of the Estate.  Known creditors of the deceased victim have to be notified of the death. These creditors have 90 days from the time they are notified, directly and/or through publication, to make a claim against the Estate.
